years. It also inculdes other places that I like to visit or I use as

| Michael Parks Pipes | Michael's Pipes are original and artistic. There are many people making pipes today who are excellent craftsmen, but most stay on the path. A few go off on their own and create from scratch. Just look at Michael's site and you will see what I mean. |
| Julius Vesz Pipes | Julius is the grand Canadian master of pipemaking. His styles, incuding the signature Raindrop shape, raised the standard for all pipes in the 1970s and 1980s. His pipes remain extremley collectible today. |
| Cornell and Diehl Tobacco | I got to know Patti and Craig at the Richmond Pipe Show in 2001. They are tremendous people who are friends to everyone. My wife and I have, except for 2006, travelled to Richmond just to meet up with this terrific family at the show and spend an evening sharing food, drink, tobacco and stories. It is worth the 2500km round trip. My standard smokes are Engine 99 and Yorktown from the C&D repretoire. |
| GL Pease Tobacco | Greg Pease is one of the most interesting people you will meet. Tobacco prowess aside, he is a philosopher, sommellier, chef and chemist all rolled into one. He has done for tobacco what Sixten Ivarsson and Bo Nordh have done for briar. |
| Lorenzetti Pipe | As I mentioned in my bio section, Alessandro and Luciano introduced me to many of the elements of briar and pipe making that I had only read about. Luciano has since retired from the family business, but Alessandro and his wife Gloria continue on. You may not know of Lorenzetti Pipes, but they have been around for 70 years and make pipes for many of the higher end brands that are more familiar. Their own brand pipes are not available direct from them, but I hope to be offering some here in the near future. |
| Brigham Pipe | What can I say about Brigham? This is the best known brand of Canadian pipe ever. The company just turned 100 years old this year and is still going strong. I worked here as Brand and Production Manager. |
| Alt Smoker Pipes | This is one of the better known pipe discussion sites. I like to go here to see what the latest gossip is. |
| ASP Pipes | This is the website associated with the Google Groups Alt.smoker.pipes mentioned above. Has a well researched shape chart that is always updated. |
| Pipes.org | This is the link of links. Pretty much every one involved with pipes are listed here in one way or another. |
Blatter and Blatter |
The French Canadian pipe making tradition dates back 100 years with in the Blatter shop. Even all the restrictive new smoking and tobacco regulations have not been able to blunt this family's enthusiasm for their craft. My recent visit there was entertaining and educational. You must visit the shop on Rue President Kennedy if you are ever in Montreal. |
